　　國(guó)際無(wú)人系統(tǒng)協(xié)會(huì)(Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International；簡(jiǎn)稱AUVSI)是一所非營(yíng)利的機(jī)構(gòu)，旨在推廣無(wú)人機(jī)及機(jī)器人系統(tǒng)社群和促進(jìn)無(wú)人系統(tǒng)和機(jī)器人社區(qū)的發(fā)展。該協(xié)會(huì)共計(jì)超過(guò)7,500個(gè)會(huì)員，包括政府機(jī)構(gòu)、企業(yè)界以及學(xué)術(shù)界，AUVSI致力于培育、發(fā)展并推廣會(huì)員的無(wú)人機(jī)系統(tǒng)及機(jī)器人技術(shù)，為軍事防御，民用和商業(yè)領(lǐng)域提供技術(shù)支持。
　　在越戰(zhàn)后期，遠(yuǎn)端遙控?zé)o人機(jī)技術(shù)開(kāi)始受到重視，促使1972年美國(guó)成立了全國(guó)遙控飛行器協(xié)會(huì)(National Association of Remotely Piloted Vehicles；NARPV)，以推廣這個(gè)快速增長(zhǎng)的領(lǐng)域。

　　隨著無(wú)人駕駛工具領(lǐng)域越來(lái)越廣，除了飛行器外，在陸地、海上以及外太空環(huán)境的需求也逐漸浮現(xiàn)，因此在1978年NARPV將專注領(lǐng)域及服務(wù)進(jìn)一步擴(kuò)大，范圍涵蓋所有無(wú)人駕駛系統(tǒng)，該機(jī)構(gòu)也順應(yīng)更名為無(wú)人機(jī)系統(tǒng)協(xié)會(huì)(AUVS)。

　　到了80、90年代，無(wú)人機(jī)系統(tǒng)產(chǎn)業(yè)出現(xiàn)爆發(fā)性增長(zhǎng)，而AUVS的服務(wù)需求也更加的國(guó)際化。1996年，該組織因應(yīng)國(guó)際性服務(wù)需求再次更名為AUVSI。

　　發(fā)展歷史

　　在越南戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)后期，遠(yuǎn)端遙控飛行器技術(shù)（簡(jiǎn)稱RPV）開(kāi)始出現(xiàn)良好的發(fā)展勢(shì)頭。1972年，全國(guó)遙控飛行器協(xié)會(huì)（簡(jiǎn)稱NARPV）創(chuàng)立，進(jìn)而推廣和促進(jìn)了這個(gè)行業(yè)的快速發(fā)展。

　　20世紀(jì)70年代末，遠(yuǎn)端遙控飛行器被稱為無(wú)人駕駛飛行器（簡(jiǎn)稱UAVS），但“無(wú)人”這個(gè)新定義的詞涵蓋的內(nèi)容卻不僅僅是飛行器。陸?？疹I(lǐng)域的快速發(fā)展使得協(xié)會(huì)拓寬其業(yè)務(wù)范圍。1978年，全國(guó)遙控飛行器協(xié)會(huì)擴(kuò)大重點(diǎn)和服務(wù)范圍，建立了一個(gè)涵蓋全部無(wú)人系統(tǒng)行業(yè)紀(jì)律的社區(qū)。這個(gè)社區(qū)就是無(wú)人系統(tǒng)協(xié)會(huì)（簡(jiǎn)稱AUVS）。

The Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International is the world's largest non-profit organization devoted exclusively to advancing the unmanned systems and robotics community. Serving more than 7,500 members from government organizations, industry and academia, AUVSI is committed to fostering, developing, and promoting unmanned systems and robotic technologies. AUVSI members support defense, civil and commercial sectors.

History
By the end of the Vietnam War, the potential for Remotely Piloted Vehicle (RPV) technology began gaining momentum and in 1972, the National Association of Remotely Piloted Vehicles (NARPV) was created to promote and advance this rapidly growing industry.
By the late 1970's, RPV's became known as Unmanned Air Vehicles (UAVs), but the newly recognized term "unmanned" encompassed more than just air vehicles. Growing developments in the ground, maritime and space arenas caused the organization to broaden its reach and in 1978, the NARPV expanded its focus and services to create a community that included all unmanned systems disciplines. The community became known as the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems (AUVS).
Through the 80s and 90s, AUVS mirrored the fast pace of growth of the unmanned systems industry, and the demand for the organization's services began to reach globally. In 1996, AUVS adopted an international focus and became the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI). 
AUVSI continues as the hub of the global unmanned systems and robotics community. Through communication, education, advocacy, awareness and leadership, the organization continues to promote and support the unmanned systems and robotics industry.
