設(shè)備與工具加拿大無人機系統(tǒng)協(xié)會創(chuàng)建于2003年。當(dāng)時，幾個富有創(chuàng)新精神的企業(yè)家及實踐家一起，在加拿大注冊成立了這家非盈利性的協(xié)會，是代表加拿大無人機系統(tǒng)行業(yè)的專業(yè)協(xié)會。協(xié)會的主要宗旨和使命是：
·代表加拿大的無人機系統(tǒng)行業(yè)發(fā)展利益，其中包括無人機制造業(yè)、無人機學(xué)會、政府用無人機、軍用無人機等；
·提升無人機系統(tǒng)行業(yè)在大眾之中的知名度，普及無人機概念，提高無人機的接受度，不僅僅聚焦加拿大，更要讓加拿大的無人機走向全球；
·為加拿大無人機系統(tǒng)行業(yè)發(fā)聲、代言；
·通過科普、宣傳及先進思想、先進技術(shù)的交流，不斷推動加拿大無人機系統(tǒng)行業(yè)的發(fā)展進程；
·協(xié)助加拿大無人機系統(tǒng)行業(yè)在無人機研發(fā)、技術(shù)革新、實際應(yīng)用及操作方面達到領(lǐng)先地位。
加拿大是全球第二大國家，全國總?cè)丝趦H為3300萬。作為加拿大公民，我們對祖國的幅員廣闊由衷感到驕傲和自豪。而無人機系統(tǒng)，無論是在天上飛、水里游還是在陸地上行進，都將在加拿大這篇領(lǐng)土上發(fā)揮巨大的作用。加拿大無人機系統(tǒng)協(xié)會的發(fā)展目標正是聚焦于無人機系統(tǒng)的普及使用。
協(xié)會與成員公司緊密合作，旨在推動無人機行業(yè)領(lǐng)域?qū)崿F(xiàn)突破，成員公司成功達成發(fā)展愿景。通過組織年度會議，并開設(shè)工作機構(gòu)，加拿大無人機系統(tǒng)協(xié)會將來自國內(nèi)外的成員公司聯(lián)合在一起，經(jīng)過不間斷的溝通交流，構(gòu)成極為多元化的股東大會朝著共同的目標不斷前行。
無人機系統(tǒng)協(xié)會代表整個行業(yè)面向大眾、企業(yè)以及媒體，利用廣泛的外延項目以及與國內(nèi)外同類型機構(gòu)的聯(lián)合來推廣加拿大的無人機產(chǎn)業(yè)。協(xié)會收到了加拿大交通部的認可，現(xiàn)已成為加拿大無人機系統(tǒng)立法、規(guī)章制定工作團隊的一員。
為了確保無人機系統(tǒng)產(chǎn)業(yè)在未來的發(fā)展?jié)摿?，協(xié)會每年發(fā)起一場無人機系統(tǒng)學(xué)生競賽。另外，協(xié)會對加拿大所有的高校開放，開設(shè)大學(xué)生論文比賽，還專門設(shè)立了Mark Cuss獎學(xué)金。
在每年的成員大會上，加拿大無人機系統(tǒng)協(xié)會將對行業(yè)內(nèi)的先進機構(gòu)及個人在無人機領(lǐng)域的創(chuàng)新、成就予以表彰。About Unmanned SystemsCanada
Founded in 2003 by a small group of entrepreneurs and visionaries, Unmanned Systems Canada is a Canadian-registered not-for-profit association representing the interests of the unmanned vehicle systems community. Our objectives are:
To represent the interests of the unmanned vehicle systems community which includes industry, academia, government, military, and other interested persons.
To promote public awareness, education and appreciation for the Canadian unmanned vehicle systems community to itself, to Canadians and worldwide.
To provide a single voice for the Canadian unmanned systems community.
To promote and facilitate the growth of the Canadian unmanned vehicle systems community through education, advocacy, and exchange of ideas and technologies.
To assist the Canadian unmanned vehicle systems community to achieve leadership in research, development, application, and operations.

As Canadians, we are blessed with the second largest country in the world while inhabiting only a small portion of it with our 33 million citizens. Unmanned vehicle systems, whether they fly, swim or crawl, have a role to play in aiding us in caring for and getting the most of out of this magnificent country. Unmanned Systems Canada aims to help with that vision.
We are intensely focused on enabling the success of our members in meeting their business objectives.
We enable a network of national and international participants through a world-leading annual conference, workshops and persistent communication, bringing together a diverse range of stakeholders to achieve common goals.
We help promote Canadian industry through an extensive outreach program and through affiliations with like-minded organizations nationally and internationally.
We represent the sector to public and private sector decision makers and the media.
We are the recognized voice of the UAS community to TransportCanadaas the co-chair of the UAS regulatory development working group.
We foster our future through a highly acclaimed annual student UAS competition, open to Canadian universities and colleges, a Student Paper Competition, and the Mark Cuss Scholarship.
We promote the sharing of peer-reviewed knowledge through the Journal of Unmanned Systems.
We recognize organizations and individuals who have contributed to the advancement of the unmanned vehicle systems sector with awards presented at our annual conference.
