通過與無人機(jī)系統(tǒng)產(chǎn)業(yè)的深入合作，我們將成功在日本開拓出一片欣欣向榮的無人機(jī)市場(chǎng)。Our objective is to support the development and promotion of the Japanese UAS industry. We established the Japan UAS Industrial Development Association to actively support the growth of the Japanese consumer UAS market, development of practical UAS technologies, and to expand the related workforce. This market is currently attracting a lot of public attention.
Although UASs have been under development for specific uses in a few fields for several years, a race in UAS development has recently begun. The US and EU have emerged as the major players, particularly after the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) pledged to treat drones as aircraft from 2018.
We will support proper development ofJapan’s consumer market, providing up-to-date UAS related information and networking opportunities with domestic and international UAS related organizations, research entities, and educational institutions. We will continually develop expertise in UAS operational techniques, navigation and control technology, operational systems, and rules and regulations in order to achieve the safety and reliability that is demanded by the Japanese public.
Together with the industry, we will be successful in developing a robust UAS market inJapan.
